Underrepresented Speaker Support

To improve diverse representation at WordCamp US (WCUS), our Programming Team has looked at ways to overcome the barriers that hold different groups back. Often the largest of these is the cost of hotel and airfare/travel.

Thank You for Supporting

The companies and organizations listed below have stepped forward to help underrepresented speakers from all over the world get to WordCamp US. To join them in supporting these speakers, please fill out this form.

Who qualifies as an underrepresented speaker?

An underrepresented speaker is someone who identifies with the groups highlighted on the Underrepresented in Tech website. If you haven’t signed up for their database, please consider doing so.

To Receive Support

If you are an underrepresented speaker looking for support, choose a company and contact them directly using the email address provided. It is up to each company to choose the speakers they are helping.

WCUS is simply here to provide a place for speakers and companies to connect.
