Keala Gaines is General Manager for Payments at WooCommerce where she focuses on ensuring merchants have access to the payment capabilities they need to run and grow their businesses. Prior to joining WooCommerce, Keala was VP, eBay Payments Services and was responsible for the migration of 19M sellers in 180 countries from a legacy referral model to eBay’s own payment solution. Over the last 22 years, Keala has held roles at VeriSign, PayPal, and Intuit across a variety of payment functions including go-to-market, product, partnerships, and operations.
She is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College of California’s MBA program and lives in Scotts Valley, California with her husband and two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys surfing, painting, cooking, and enjoying local wines.
