Christina Deemer

Christina Deemer is a Senior UX Developer at Lede, a company of the Alley Group, where she champions accessibility and headless WordPress in her work with enterprise-level publishers and nonprofits.

Passionate about inclusivity and community, she takes the time to share what she has learned with others. Christina has spoken at WordCamp NYC, WordCamp Philly, the Museum Computer Network Conference, LibertyJS, and the Philly JS Meetup. She has also given webinars for Pantheon and the Online News Association. She was chosen to be in the inaugural class of mentors in the international Net Gen Accessibility Mentorship Program, co-founded the Interactive Mechanics Fellowship for Diversity and Inclusion, and is an internal coach with the Alley Group.

Christina is autistic and brings her personal experience with neurodivergence and disability to bear in her work in accessibility. Her special interests include poetry, classic films, and Star Trek. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband and two cats, Pickles and Luna.
