Things to do nearby
The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor is located along the Potomac River near the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and just south of Washington D.C.
The area also features the Capital Wheel, a 165-foot diameter (50.3m) Ferris wheel offering incredible views of the Washington Monument, U.S. Capitol, and Alexandria, Virginia. A water taxi is available to Old Town Alexandria, Georgetown, The Tidal Basin, Mount Vernon, and the Washington National’s Major League Baseball stadium.
In addition, there’s lot of history for you to explore:
- The White House, Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, and more
- Incredible museums and arts venues such as the Smithsonian National Museum and The Kennedy Center
