Abby Bowman

As NASA’s Web Modernization Lead, Abby Bowman oversees the agency’s efforts to consolidate its public websites into a unified, word-class web experience. Before joining NASA in 2022, she served as Web Media Branch Chief at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) as well as Deputy/Acting Director of Digital Engagement at the Department of Commerce. Abby lives in Silver Spring, MD and is an active member of the federal web, UX and open source communities.
