The meetup began around 2010 but things were rocky until about 2013 when meetups were held once a month and has not stopped since. The topics change every month with rotational format of full sessions, lighting talks by 3-4 speakers, happiness nights, and the great tip exchange in December that pairs with our holiday party. We’ve had speakers from the greater Sacramento region, the San Francisco Bay Area, and beyond at our meetups. The audience attendance has increased over the years from having about 10 to 20 people to now up to 70 and they all come from a radius of up to 90 miles.
