Important Information About the After Party

We’re getting close to WordCamp US and we’re sure everyone is getting excited. There are a few important reminders about the after party that we want to make sure you’re aware of:

Date and Time

The after party will be held Friday, December 7th from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Location

Our after-party will take place at Adventure Science Center located at 800 Fort Negley Blvd. Nashville, TN 37203. We will have beverages, light hors d’oeuvres, and desserts. We advise attendees to eat dinner first.

Bringing Guests

No one can attend the after party unless they have a badge. If you wish to bring a guest to the after party, they must purchase a ticket. All badges must be picked up/purchased by 3 p.m. on Friday.

Bringing Kids

Kids are welcome at the after party! Kids 10 and older must have their own purchased ticket and attendee badge. Kids 9 and under need a badge as well, but are free to pick up. You can pick up an attendee badge (or replacement badge) for your kids at registration. All badges must be picked up by 3 p.m. on Friday.

How to Sign Up for Contributor Day

Contributor day is a time to give back to WordPress and meet the people responsible for what we have today. You don’t have to be a developer or even know anything about WordPress to participate (it may actually be an asset). Regardless, participating is an excellent way to learn more and contribute back to the project.

You don’t have to sign up to attend, but we all that you update your registration to say what team you think you may want to start at. Not sure which team is right for you? The Marketing team famously has a great onboarding process for beginners and is often a good place to start.
