Community Spotlight: Northeast Ohio WordPress
Our community has a great mix of technical and non-technical individuals. We have a lot of Meetup attendees that run their business on WordPress or make money setting up and managing WordPress sites for clients. Our Meetup group has traveled to a handful of Northeast Ohio cities and is a great platform for new speakers. We’re a laid-back and supportive group that meets twice a month near the Cleveland and Akron areas.

WordCamp US 2018: Daily Menu
Many times over the course of the event, we hear the age old question, “What’s for lunch?” Well, to demystify this question, we’ve put together a menu of all of the food and drinks you can expect to see during your time in Nashville.
An Important Note About Allergies
WordCamp US takes food allergies very seriously. On site this year, we have several attendees that will become severely ill when exposed to peanuts and tree nuts, including exposure through the air. In an effort to reduce the risk of exposure to peanuts and tree nuts, you’ll notice that our menu below does not include any peanuts or tree nuts. To assist us in keeping our fellow community members safe, we ask that you please avoid bringing nuts and products containing nuts into the venue. Continue reading “WordCamp US 2018: Daily Menu” →

WordCamp US 2018: Weather Forecast
Next week is WordCamp US! If you read my What’s In My Bag? post, you’ll see lots of things you can bring to be prepared. One important way you can prepare is by dressing appropriately for the weather.
No matter where you’re traveling from, you’re going to want to dress warmly and bring a coat. Expect temperatures to dip below freezing at night. Rain and/or snow looks likely over the weekend.
Weather is always changing, so check this Nashville 7-day forecast before you pack!
No precipitation is expected inside the convention center. If you appreciate the warm embrace of a hoodie or festive sweater vest, then live life to the fullest. And there will be plenty of coat racks so you won’t need to lug your coat or rain jacket through the sessions.
