Our community has a great mix of technical and non-technical individuals. We have a lot of Meetup attendees that run their business on WordPress or make money setting up and managing WordPress sites for clients. Our Meetup group has traveled to a handful of Northeast Ohio cities and is a great platform for new speakers. We’re a laid-back and supportive group that meets twice a month near the Cleveland and Akron areas.

2010 was the first WordCamp Philly and one followed every year since, with the exception of 2016 when the Philly WordCamp was overtaken by WordCamp US, held here in the city of brotherly love.
WordCamp Philly WAS held in June of 2015 and the inaugural WordCamp US was held in December 2015 in Philadelphia. Two huge WordCamps in a period of 6 months!

Our community is a blend of hobbyists, professionals, and industries that support the WordPress ecosystem. Despite the varying nature of these different members, we have an incredibly close and tight-knit group of people who find both professional support and friendship from our community.

Meetups originally held at the Santa Clarita Public Library (Old Town Branch) in the southeast part of the Santa Clarita Valley in Newhall, California. As we build the WordPress Community in northern Los Angeles County, we convene at area Starbucks or Barnes & Noble. We hope to hold future meetups in the meeting facility at the College of the Canyons here in Valencia.
We offer two flavors of monthly meetups: 1) is our weeknight meetup which is geared toward our professional members (mid to advanced level); and 2) our Saturday meetup is for beginning to mid-level users but both flavors are open to all.
Our topics have ranged in all areas of the WordPress open source project for Themes, Plugins, Page Builders, Gutenberg, and more.
