Alex Ball
Alex came to WordPress after only eight years as a magazine editor and copy editor. When they needed to increase their web presence with editor-driven blogs, he stepped into the WordPress community and hasn’t looked back. He’s now a Senior Software Engineer working with WordPress at Mindgrub, an agency in Baltimore, MD.

Brian Richards
Brian Richards is the creator of WPSessions and has been developing with WordPress since 2007. Brian has had the opportunity to lead and work with many amazing development teams these last several years. This has allowed him to help develop sites for Microsoft, Disney, TIME, YMCA, and numerous others.
Brian has an affinity for self-directed learning and helping others to develop skills and workflows to better solve important and complicated problems. He can’t resist helping good people do great things!

Joe Casabona
Joe Casabona is an accredited college course developer and professor.
He also has his Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, is a Front End Developer, and hosts multiple podcasts.
Joe started freelancing in 2002 and has been a teacher at the college level for over 10 years. His passion in both areas has driven him to build Creator Courses, a school for those who want to create online businesses.
As a big proponent of learning by doing, he loves creating focused, task-driven courses to help students build something. When he’s not teaching, he’s interviewing people for his podcast, How I Built It.

Tess Coughlan-Allen
Tess is a writer who is passionate about communicating ideas in creative ways. Day to day, Tess works as Marketing Manager for Mind Doodle, helping people all over the world Make Ideas Happen with creative thinking and visual task management.
Involved with both global and local WordPress events, Tess is one of the Global Leads for WordCamp Europe 2020, was Communication Team Lead in 2019 and a member of the PR team in 2018. Tess also ran the first do_action hackathon to take place in Europe as well as regular local WordPress Meetups.
During her free time, you’ll find Tess writing, making music, staying active (in any way, from yoga to flipping tyres!), attending festivals with friends, kayaking with her partner or exploring the countryside with their two dogs.
