He works as a Principal Software Engineer at Bluehost, where he is sponsored to contribute directly to the WordPress project. His work includes writing and reviewing code, mentoring contributors, and helping guide the platform\u2019s long-term direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the years, Jonathan has contributed to everything from ongoing maintenance tasks to major architectural decisions. His work consistently centers on the needs of the end user.
