Carol Stambaugh is a WordPress community leader and company founder with more than a decade of experience building events, speaker programs, and volunteer teams across the WordPress ecosystem. Before moving into web work, she spent 14 years as a nonprofit executive, serving as CEO of two organizations—experience that shapes how she leads people and programs today.

A Phoenix-area local, Carol co-founded RadiateU, a WordPress care and website-growth company based in Mesa, Arizona. She has been an organizer for WordCamp Phoenix since 2012 and its Speaker Wrangler since 2017, and has led the Arizona WordPress Meetup since 2011. She also contributes to the WordPress through Five for the Future and helps organize PressConf in Tempe.

As Program Lead for WordCamp US 2026, Carol oversees Programming and Speaker Logistics—shaping the session mix, supporting speakers, and coordinating the programming team to deliver an engaging experience in her home city of Phoenix.
