Wendy Mahoney

Hi, I’m Wendy — a web developer with over 25 years of experience creating secure, user-focused websites. I began my tech journey in network administration and quickly found my passion in web development and cybersecurity. I’ve been working with WordPress since it first launched, and I love using it to build flexible, dynamic sites that truly work for their users.

Currently, I work for the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), an organization dedicated to enhancing public safety, workforce development, and economic growth through hands-on, customized training programs. TEEX is home to the world’s largest fire training facility and delivers cutting-edge solutions in areas like law enforcement, homeland security, infrastructure, and emergency response. It’s an exciting place to bring together technology and public service in meaningful ways.

Outside of work, I enjoy crafting, gardening, and spending time with my pets. Whether I’m building a website or planting a garden, I believe thoughtful design and attention to detail make all the difference.
