Call for Speakers: WordCamp US 2025

Are you passionate about WordPress and eager to share what you’ve learned? Speaker applications for WordCamp US 2025 are officially open!

This year’s event will take place in Portland, Oregon, and feature four days of learning, collaboration, and inspiration—including a Contributor Day, a Showcase Day, and two days of sessions from voices across the WordPress community.

• Everyone is welcome — designers, developers, writers, marketers, educators, contributors, and beyond
• First-time speakers encouraged — confidence and a great idea go a long way
• Tell a story — personal experiences and real-world examples connect best
• Focus on education — aim to teach, inspire, or empower—not to pitch
• Celebrate diversity — we actively encourage voices from underrepresented groups and new perspectives
• Unique content is key — surprise and inspire us with something new or underexplored
• Flexible formats available — from traditional talks to workshops and informal Campfire Chats, we welcome a variety of session styles
