Call for Photographers

Want to help us capture the magic of WordCamp US 2025 on camera?

Whether you’ve volunteered as a WordCamp photographer before (welcome back!) or you’re thinking about joining the photography team for the first time (we’re excited to meet you!), we’d love to have you on the team.

We’re happy to announce that applications for the 2025 Photography team are now open! If you’re passionate about documentary-style photography or love covering live events, this is your moment to shine.

We’re also looking for volunteers with a sharp eye to help edit and prepare photos for real-time sharing on social media throughout the event.

What to know

Joining the Photography team at WordCamp US 2025 is a great opportunity to build your event photography skills while connecting with a fun, creative group of volunteers.

As an official WCUS photographer, you’ll be encouraged to:

Bring your unique photographic style
Deliver crisp, high-quality images
Edit and post-process your own work

Like all WCUS roles, this is a volunteer opportunity, though all photographers will receive a complimentary ticket to attend WordCamp US.

By submitting this application, you agree that as a member of the WordCamp Europe Photography Team, you are offering your services for FREE as a volunteer. If we select you as a volunteer you get a free ticket and all that it includes (t-shirts, swag, meals etc), but we won’t cover your travel and accommodation expenses.
