William is a graduate of South Carolina State University where he earned a Bachelors in Education and earned a Master of Arts in Education from Webster University with a focus on Educational Technology, Social Media and STEAM. William is a 31-year professional educator in public and higher education, past tech instructor for NASA and the Florida Department of Education. He has been blogging over 10 years and is nationally and internationally recognized.
He has been participating in WordCamp conferences since 2011 and has grown to be a speaker, volunteer, advocate, blogger, microsponsor and an organizer. William works hard as a blogger and content creator to share his knowledge to help parents understand the value and dangers of Social Media. He and his girlfriend have continued to participate together and love volunteering and speaking. They have taught and volunteered at several KidsCamps in the US and in Calgary, Canada and Costa Rica, Central America. They are organizers for KidsCamp Jacksonville and developing a curriculum based on STEAM and Web Development.
