There are a wide variety of ways to contribute, and there are lots of ways to participate without having technical experience.<\/p>\n<p>If you haven\u2019t already,\u00a0<strong>please edit your registration details<\/strong>\u00a0(via the link provided in your ticket receipt)\u00a0<strong>to choose which team you\u2019d like to contribute to<\/strong>. Choosing a team confirms your attendance, so don\u2019t forget!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please Note:<\/strong>\u00a0If you plan to contribute to the\u00a0<strong>core, design, or meta teams<\/strong>, you\u2019ll likely need to set up a local development server, we recommend Varying Vagrant Vagrants (VVV). Setup instructions can be found in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/core\/handbook\/tutorials\/installing-a-local-server\/installing-vvv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this handbook article<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll also have USB sticks available at the Contributor Day complete with copies of Vagrant, VirtualBox, and a specially pre-provisioned VVV box you can unpack and import quickly at the event.<\/p>\n<h2>The Teams<\/h2>\n<p>Click the contributor day links for each team to find out what they\u2019re about and what types of contributing they have available.<\/p>\n<h3>Accessibility<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Team leads:<\/strong>\u00a0Rian Rietveld (<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">@rianrietveld on Slack), Andrea Fercia (@afercia on Slack), and Joe Dolson (@joedolson on Slack)<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"team-description\">\n<p>The a11y group provides accessibility expertise across the project.
