A: The first WordCamp was in 2006 in San Francisco. It was organized by Matt Mullenweg. There were about 500 in attendance. <\/span><\/p>\n

Q: When was the first WordCamp US?<\/span><\/h2>\n

A: The first WordCamp known as WordCamp US was in 2015 in Philadelphia, PA. However, the first WordCamp for North America was WordCamp San Francisco in 2006.<\/span><\/p>\n
