2017 is a year away but the planning for WordCamp US 2017 starts today! Before we can get too far in the planning process there are a few decisions that need to be made. At the very top of that list of details? We need to choose a city to host to WordCamp US in 2017 and 2018.
Is your city the perfect place to host WordCamp US? Are you willing to lead the local WordCamp US organizing team for two consecutive years?

Really exciting to see planning getting underway. All the applicants will have big shoes to fill.
One thing that I hope host cities in 2017 and 2018 consider is not having the event so close to Thanksgiving. Stacking travel for many people can be incredibly stressful and we shouldn’t force people to choose between family and WordPress.
