The 2015 WordPress Community Summit will take place on Wednesday, December 2, 2015<\/strong> followed by the\u00a0Contributor Team Working Day on Thursday, December 3, 2015<\/strong>. The time for both days will be approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm.<\/p>\n

What is the Community Summit?<\/h4>\n

Unlike the main WCUS conference, which can have as many as 2000 attendees, the Community Summit is a smaller, work-focused event. Community leaders gather to discuss and work on issues that the WordPress community faces.\u00a0The Community Summit is an unconference, without slides,\u00a0selected\u00a0speakers, or planned presentations. Because of the format and the goals of the Summit, it\u2019s necessary to cap registration at a much lower number.<\/p>\n

Participating<\/h4>\n

The participant pool will be\u00a0people who most actively contribute to the WordPress project. These participants will span all teams on the project from Themes to Accessibility\u00a0and everything in between. In addition to active Community team members, attendees are also folks who are heavily involved in the greater WordPress ecosystem but may not be on one of the contributor teams.<\/p>\n

Venue<\/h4>\n

The summit\u00a0will be held at The Hub<\/a>, a beautiful meeting space just a few blocks from the official WCUS Hotel<\/a> at 2001 Market Street<\/a> 2nd Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19103.<\/p>\n

For the 2 day gathering, we will have an\u00a0array of large, open spaces and intimate conference rooms.<\/p>\n

Directions for Entering The Hub Commerce Square (on Market Street between 20th and 21st Streets)<\/h5>\n

Please enter through the main plaza (outside courtyard) Commerce Building #2, right side. Once you enter, there will be a main Security desk, and to the left of that, a smaller Hub entry greet desk<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Please stop at that desk and mention either the Hub or your group’s name. Their greeter will give you access through the turnstiles and direct you to the set of elevators which take you the 2nd floor<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Once off the elevators, turn left, for Suite 210<\/strong>, you will see a Lobby desk to welcome you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
