If you haven&#8217;t already, please, answer our poll asking which team you&#8217;d be most interested in participating in:<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"pd_a_9216544\"><\/a><div class=\"CSS_Poll PDS_Poll\" id=\"PDI_container9216544\" style=\"\"><\/div><div id=\"PD_superContainer\"><\/div><noscript><a href=\"https:\/\/poll.fm\/9216544\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Take Our Poll<\/a><\/noscript><br \/>\n<strong>Please Note:<\/strong> If you plan to contribute to the <strong>core, design, or meta teams<\/strong>, you&#8217;ll likely need to set up a local development server, we recommend Varying Vagrant Vagrants (VVV). Setup instructions can be found in <a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/core\/handbook\/tutorials\/installing-a-local-server\/installing-vvv\/\">this handbook article<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll also have USB sticks available at the Contributor Day complete with copies of Vagrant, VirtualBox, and a specially pre-provisioned VVV box you can unpack and import quickly at the event.<\/p>\n<h2>The Teams<\/h2>\n<p>Click the contributor day links for each team to find out what they&#8217;re about and what types of contributing they have available.<\/p>\n<h3>Core<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Team lead:<\/strong> Mike Schroder, @mike on Slack<\/p>\n<p>The core team makes WordPress.
